( ) ____________ Seeds. ( ) ____________ Seeds. Date Planted:______________

Storage before planting: Store in freezer or a sealed container in refrigerator.

Planting Indoors: Do not plant till after last frost date in your area. Can be started in-doors up to 8 weeks before your last frost date, Plant in 3" peat pots. Plant the whole pot. Note: Seeds do not grow fast in pots so give them time.

Planting Outdoors: Plant 3 seeds to one 12 inch mound. Space mounds 3 to 4 feet apart.

Water. Most seeds will germinate in 10 to 30 days or longer. Hint: presoak seeds for 24 hours and nick or cut the outer shell before planting to quicken germination. Water often but do not soak. Fertilize every 3 to 4 weeks.

Do not plant seeds close to other vine like plants. You may get cross pollination from bees. It's best to keep all vine growing plants at least 150 feet away from others. You could be very disappointed at your growing results.  This means other gourds as well! These seeds are pure and open polinated.

Note: For your best growing results, the ground temperature must be at least 65 degrees or better. Gourd seeds do have a very hard shell and can take up to 30 days or longer for the sprouts to develop and emerge from the ground. Gourds do grow best when the weather gets hotter. (Hint) To help in germination, nick the gourd seed with a sharp knife or a clipper. Please Note: Cracked seeds do and will grow well!
